The members of FSBC of Cordes Lakes extend a warm welcome to all who are interested in learning more about the Christian faith. Whatever your past experiences may have been, we want you to know that Cordes Lakes can be the beginning of an entirely new chapter in your life. Who you meet can be as important as what you learn, and to that end, we have various ministries aimed at meeting the needs and interests of all ages, from preschool to senior adult. Wherever you may fit, we would like you to get to know us a little better by inviting you to join us in one of our worship services. We look forward to meeting you.

MUSIC MINISTRY

“… teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”  Colossians 3:16

CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES  "Safe Zone"

“Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Sunday Mornings

Nursery - to show God's love at the earliest opportuity.

Preschool - committed to ministry with children, not baby sitting.

Graded Ages - Children's Worship: Bible study, music and age appropriate worship based on your child's grade in school

Other Areas - Vacation Bible School in the summer

YOUTH MINISTRY

High School years are probably the most challenging and perplexing, wrapped with confusing issues and unwanted decisions.  Most struggles are with choices: Where do I fit, what do I believe in, and whom can I trust.  We feel it is imperative to have a well-balanced ministry that will address these needs of High School students.  Here is how we do this:

Sunday Morning 9:30 AM they meet in a large group led by a teacher and discuss a lesson that is Bible centered.

Our Bible Studies offer an alternative for our youth in a large group events, with videos, crowd breakers, music, competition and practical talks aimed at motivating our students to walk with God and for those who do not know God to begin a relationship with Him.

Other events: Trips for Concerts, Amusement parks, summer camp through out the year.  Each designed to reach, challenge, love and encourage youth, both in the church and out.

AA meets every Tuesday evening at 7:00

MISSIONS MINISTRY

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.”  Matthew 28:19

FSBC of Cordes Lakes takes seriously God's mandate to take the gospel to all "the people". We believe all Christians are to be committed to world evangelism, either as one that 'goes' or one that 'sends'.  Our church supports the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention which helps support our mission work overseas , through out the United States or right here in our state.

Take some time and look through the organizations that we support.  You will find their links below.

HOW THE COOPERATIVE PROGRAM WORKS

Each church sets aside a percentage of tithes and offerings it receives from members for Cooperative Program missions and ministry causes.

Each church sends Cooperative Program monies to the Arizona Southern Baptist Convention.

The ASEC forwards 25 percent of the contributions received from Arizona churches to the Southern Baptist Convention while 75 percent is used to fund missions and ministries in Arizona.

The Southern Baptist Convention sends money to six seminaries, the North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board for missions work in America and around the world.
